Our Big
Day
Save The Date!
Lets get our champs on!
At the moment we have been a little busy planning the wedding... but watch this space for more details of the after party!
For those of you who will be sticking around, we will be having a little soire in Donegal Town the evening after our big day.
There are lots of accommodation choices in and around Donegal Town. Below we have listed a few of our preferred locations. The Abbey, The Central and the Mill Park are all good hotels that have great restaurants. Solis and Harvey's Point (the venue) are great hotels but a bit further out of the town and the local amenities. The Gateway Lodge will be the most reasonably priced and great value for money.

"Must not forget the rings...must not forget the rings..."
By now you may have received your Save the Date magnets and know that the wedding is taking place next September in Donegal Town. Not only is this a beautiful part of Ireland, it represents a part of the world that is special to both of us for many reasons.
There will be more information added to this page over the coming months so we would recommend checking in from time to time for details on the ceremony, reception and the after party!
Detailed invites will follow, but for now we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to make travel and accommodation plans.
We recommend that you make your travel plans early. There are daily flights to the surrounding airports but they do tend to get booked quickly. If you book early there are reasonably priced flights with both Easyjet / Ryanair to Derry, Knock and Belfast. There is no public transport to Donegal Town and if you opt for a taxi it will need to be pre-booked. Please keep us up to date with any bookings you make, as we will endeavour to provide a coach from each airport to Donegal Town if there are times when most people are arriving.
Transportation
Getting There
If you would prefer not to fly there is also the option of driving from the UK via the boat (Holyhead to Dublin) which we have done on a few occasions and it has always proved to be a less stressful journey than first thought. The drive from Dublin Port to Donegal Town is around 3.5 hours.
